About Dr. Kaitlyn Owens ND
Dr. Kaitlyn Owens, ND believes the body has an incredible ability to heal when given the right tools. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, her approach emphasizes identifying the root cause of imbalance and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
Using a personalized, evidence-informed approach, Dr. Owens supports patients through functional lab testing, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, acupuncture, bioidentical hormone therapy, targeted supplementation, physical medicine, and vitamin injections. Her goal is to help guide the body back toward balance and optimal function.
Dr. Owens has a special interest in metabolic and hormonal health, which sit at the foundation of overall wellbeing and influence energy levels, mood, weight, digestion, and long-term disease prevention.
Through a root-cause approach, she helps identify and address factors that may be contributing to metabolic and hormonal imbalances, including:
Blood sugar dysregulation and insulin resistance, which can drive weight gain, fatigue, and cravings
Thyroid imbalances, affecting metabolism, mood, and energy
Adrenal health and chronic stress, where dysregulated cortisol can impact weight, sleep, mood, and inflammation
Reproductive health, including menstrual irregularities, perimenopause, and menopause
Gut health, which plays a critical role in hormone regulation and metabolic balance
Dr. Owens’ goal is to provide education, guidance, and individualized care to help patients better understand their bodies and support long-term, sustainable health.
